Darline Anne Hunt (Nonnie), 91, of Mansfield passed away November 17, 2024, at OhioHealth Mansfield after a brief illness. Darline was born June 23, 1933, in Loudonville, Ohio, to the late Clyde and Virginia (Swank) Parrott.
She was an active member of Mayflower Congregational Church and spent her Fridays volunteering at What Goes ‘Round Thrift Shoppe in downtown Mansfield.
In May of 1977, Darline married Denny Hunt. They were happily married for 36 years prior to his passing in 2013. She will be incredibly missed by her daughters, Suzanne (Nicholas) Musashe of Winter Park, FL, Joline (Mark) O’Brien of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Jacki (Andy) Sobo, Andrew (Sara) Musashe, Derek (Caitlin) Musashe, Amber Carver, McKenzie and Rylee O’Brien; great-grandchildren, Slaten Sobo, Zeke, Maren, and Eloise Musashe, and Olive Musashe; as well as her treasured cat, Libby Anne.
In addition to her parents, Darline was welcomed into Heaven by her late husband, Denny; sisters, Ellen Retzke and Betty Prentice; and her son, Jack Carver, whom she has missed dearly.
Per Darline’s wishes, she will be cremated and her family will have a private service at Windsor Park Cemetery in Mansfield at a later date.
Darline’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses of OhioHealth Mansfield Surgical Intensive Care Unit for the care they provided to her. You treated her as if she was your own family member and for that, they are so grateful for each and every one of you.
