This is one of my favorite pictures of both of you. We had so much fun talking about so many things that night at Greg’s Halloween party. You were so kind, sweet and outgoing as well as easy to talk to and my whole family adored you and we will miss you so much.

Aunt Sharon,

Thank you for being such a positive force in my life. You were a rock of goodness, love, and kindness. Someone who always gave me the best hugs, brightest smiles, and you always had that welcoming twinkle in your eyes. You were so fun to joke around with and I loved laughing with you. Your quick-witted sense of humor was so contagious! I loved your innate kindness and the interest you took in everyone around you.  I loved seeing you on holidays, camping trips, and the other times we got together.  You had the gift of gab and how I wish I could have one more lengthy conversation with you!

Some of my best memories as a kid are going to your house in Alhambra on Christmas eve. All the family under one roof, playing football in the street, unwrapping gifts and then throwing the wrapping paper at each other, great food, and you...you always made sure everyone was having a great time. 

As an adult, I quickly realized how much of a great mother and wife you were, how much you loved your husband, kids, siblings, parents, grandkids, great grandkids, nephews, nieces - everyone! 

Congratulations on a life well-lived. You did it right - a full and rich life with a legacy of a wonderful family, so much love, and unwavering kindness. I take comfort in remembering what a great life you lived, and I know you are now reunited with your parents, my dad Gary, your son Mark, and others that you loved so well.

It's me, Greg Puente with my wife & boys I think about 10 years ago!!! 🙏🏽

Sending sincere condolences to Bob, Greg, Lorri and all who knew and loved Sharon. She was a very loving and caring cousin. I have so many fond memories of her over my 77 years of interacting with her. If I have to list something, would probably say the summers that Uncle Hamp brought the whole family back to Iowa. It great being able to be with them for 7 to 10 days each year. The family picnics at the park in Audubon and Spring Brook near Guthrie Center, Iowa.

Sharon always met you with a smile!  Although we didn't get to see each other often, I have many fond memories of our visits. She was such a caring person and always wanted to hear about what was happening in our family.  I know how much she loved her family and was loved equally in return. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

I’ll always think of Sharon’s smile! That and her laugh and those twinkling eyes. Lots of things about her reminded me of Uncle Hamp, her Dad. . . her gentle spirit, her firm resolve and mostly her love for her family.   As the “older” cousin she always seemed so mature and confident but patiently put up with the rest of us.  When I think about her, I can still hear her voice and laughter.

The day I married Sharon’s brother, Ron, I also became Sharon’s sister-in-law!  At that time her 3 kids were young and I was witness to the love, nurture, and care she gave them. 
She didn’t let them get away with too much but she kept them in line with love and understanding ~ Sharon’s way. 
I learned so much from watching her. She was a wonderful wife, a fun and supportive mom, an amazing grandma, and the great grandma every child deserves!
I will forever carry with me the special memories of time spent together ~
Christmases, family reunions, visits to Henderson, boating on Lake Mead, and all the camping trips!

Sharon, I’m so blessed to have had you in my life and I will miss you and your loving ways so much. You will always be in my heart.

Mom...paying specific homage or tribute to you is challenging to say the least because you gave me so many good times and memories over the years. 

Your loss is heavy, one that hurts me deeply, but I know that you are in a better place now, reunited with your son Mark, your brother Uncle Gary, your parents Grandma and Grandpa Jones, and all other members of the family that passed before you. 

You were Gods gift and an inspiration to our family, and we will never lose or forget that. I will personally miss our camping trips together because of the uninterrupted quality time to simply sit down and talk, and to get caught up. Special times with a special person!

I was blessed to have the kindest, most supportive, and most understanding mother that one could have asked for and will forever be thankful for the 61 years I had with you. The family is Gods greatest masterpiece and your influence over ours was unmistakable. You were our guiding light, one that shined bright! Again, thank you for all you gave to our wonderful family!

Grandma I already miss you beyond words. You were an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and friend. When describing your characteristics and personality to others it was easy to share how sweet, beautiful, kind, caring, and thoughtful you were. You brightened each and every room you walked into with your smile and genuine happiness that you displayed. I learned the importance of being kind to everyone I encounter from you as you were the greatest example. 

I will miss our phone conversations, hugs, and spending time with you the most. We would talk for hours about anything and everything. Each visit or phone call, I would learn more about the beautiful life you had. I will always value our time together.

I hope you know how thankful I am for all that you have done for our family. Your love and support will forever be felt and cherished. We will take care of Grandpa, Luke, & Susie for you. Thank you for being my guardian angel. Evan, Charlie, and I love you more than words can express. Thank you for being a blessing in my life.

As an Iowa cousin we didn’t get to see each other often but enjoyed any time we were together. Sharon had a beautiful smile and a warm laugh. The last time we were all together was in San Diego. It was so nice catching up. We will all miss her.

We were blessed to meet  Sharon and Bob through our friends Greg and Lisa. Our kids grew up playing sports together, and Sharon and Bob would be at many of those games where we got to know them and spend time with them. Sharon and Bob opened up their home to us in Las Vegas where we would visit. Sharon treated us like family and we will never forget her kind and giving spirit.

Sharon was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, and we witnessed that firsthand spending time together with her and the family. She treated us and our children so well. Always smiling, always laughing, and just enjoying everyone’s company. So much love in her. This brings back so  many good memories and we will miss her and always cherish the time we spent together.

Whenever we see Greg and Lisa or talk with them, we always wanted to know how Bob and Sharon were doing. That’s the lasting impression and impact they both had on us. 

Our condolences to the family. Sharon you will be missed.

When I was in middle school, Mr. Brock assigned us to write about someone we admired. I wrote about Sharon. She was one of the kindest women I know. Growing up she knew all of our names and made her home a place that we always felt welcome and comfortable. She was very generous with her time with me. She went out of her way to pick me up so that I could go to Greg's baseball games. For Christmas one year she gave me a gold bracelet that I still have. I felt like she was a second mom to me. I will always be thankful to her, and to all of you, that you opened up your family to me. My heart is saddened that she is in heaven. My love and prayers are with you.

Good bye, big sis.  So many great memories. Our family’s annual road trip to Iowa, countless camping trips with mom and dad and Gary,  I’ll never forget your amazing hospitality when mom and dad moved up to Reno and Gary and I stayed in the little family trailer in your back yard because mom and dad sold the house making Gary and I homeless. But you jumped in and saved the day. 
And then more camping trips with all of our families.  So many memories.  Clearly, what stands out the most in my memory is the love and strength and compassion that you had for your family, and because of your sense of family, I see how strong your family bonds are and how great your kids and grandkids and great grandkids are.  And while your family will miss you for the rest of their lives, because of you, they will be fine. So, rest in peace, sis. You’ve earned it.

Hello I am Greg Puente the other Greg! I met Sharon well over 40 years ago. I was a childhood friend of Greg on the block! For a brief time I was homeless, and without even knowing me, Sharon opens the door without even asking Bob!! It's a long story, but if it wasn't for Sharon, I don't know what I would've done one day I was living in my car the next day I had a beautiful bed, hot meals, a great shower and love in a beautiful home with the Johnson family!! Someday I will share more. I just wanted to get this out this morning.. R.I.P Sharon (Angel) 🙌📖🙏🏽💙
