Sandra Jayne (Palmisano) Cross was born January 3, 1941, in Ontario, California to Roy Palmisano and Bessie (Bubier) Palmisano and the world was forever made a brighter place. She passed away on October 7, 2023 in Lawton, Oklahoma, leaving an impact on everyone she ever met. She was a resident of California for over 70 years before retiring in Utah and ultimately moving to Oklahoma to be closer to family. She was known affectionately as Sandy but the names she adored the most were Mom and Grandma. Sandy loved her family dearly and family was her favorite past-time, subject, and job. Family was everything to her and it resonates through her loved ones to this day. Her recipes are closely safeguarded and treasured by her entire family. Sandy was a truly kind and industrious woman, always willing to help others in need. She was a skilled seamstress and made clothes, costumes, and so much more for those she loved. She was ornery and feisty, and that combined with her extraordinary sense of humor made for a force to be reckoned with. Sandy was a whirlwind of energy and love and will be deeply missed by so many.
