Paul Daniel Leal was born on January 31st 1965 in Anahiem California to Lupe and Larry Leal Sr. Paul had 3 siblings; Larry Jr., Ernie and Sally. Paul grew up in Rubidox and graduated from Rubidox High School where he ran for the school’s track team. After high school, he went on to college at the University of Riverside where he earned two Bachelor degrees in Philosophy and also in Ancient Languages. Paul worked for a while in the home loan business where he met the love of his life, Paula, but his true calling was to be a teacher. He left the world of home loans, earned his teaching credential and became employed with the Ontario/Montclair School District. He spent over 20 years at Corona Elementary School in Ontario shaping the minds of many 5th grade students who absolutely loved their teacher. Paul always had a book or newspaper in his hand and loved to read the works of Socrates, Plato and Niche. He always had a passion for learning. He loved being out in nature, going to Disneyland, Comic Con, everything Star Trek, family trips to Hawaii and monkeys. His greatest joy and passion, though, was his wife, Paula, and their beautiful children. He loved nothing more than spending as much time as possible with them and having many adventures. He loved life and was such a dear friend to all who knew him. He always had a ready smile and a helping hand for anyone who needed it. His laughter and love for life will never fade from our hearts. Until we meet again, my friend. “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle”-Plato Paul is preceded in death by his father, Larry Sr.
Paul is survived by his mother, Lupe; his wife, Paula; his daughters, Brittany Ortega (Eric), Riley and Berkeley; his son Blake; brothers Larry Jr and Ernie; sister Sally Cooper (Bill); nieces Devin Potter (Mitch), Julian Leal, Morgan Lean and Natalie Cooper; nephews Christopher and Paul Leal; great-nieces and great nephews, his mother and father-in law Bonnie and Bob Le Rouge and many, many, extended family.
