Maria Elsie Ramirez Andres

March 18, 1954 – January 29, 2021

There is a new angel in Heaven. Maria Elsie Ramirez passed at the age of 66 on January 29, 2021 at Kaiser Hospital in Ontario, CA. She is survived by her husband of 41 years Rafael M Ramirez and 3 Children Rafael, Alvaro and Elsie Mariana. She was born in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico on March 18, 1954 to Ramon & Mariana Andres. The third oldest of eight siblings, she showed her strong spirit from an early age. From her stories of childhood, you knew she stood up for what she believed in even when it got her in trouble.

She came to the U.S. at 18 to live with and help her grandmother. Once here she met my Father. She always remembered that moment like it was yesterday and smiled. He was sitting at a table fixing a camera, and she wished he would pay attention to her. I still have that very camera. She remembered how he asked her to be his girlfriend as they were dancing. They tied the knot on February 24, 1979 a few years later we came along. They bought their first home in Pomona CA in 1991 where they made many friends. Eventually in 2006 we moved to Ontario CA into a bigger home. She loved to be surrounded by friends and family and a bigger home meant more people.

Always the dedicated homemaker she was the rock of our home. She shaped us and taught us by example. Always giving and loving without expectation. She was the life of the party, always smiling, joking and laughing. She gave with all she had and loved with her whole heart. She was the light in a dark room.

Conversations and embraces will be greatly missed but I know she loves us and is with us watching over us.

El día 29 de Enero del 2021, falleció en Ontario Cal. a la edad de 66 años. Su esposo Rafael Ramirez la despide después de 41 anos de matrimonio lleno de amor, en el cual concedieron a sus tres hijos Rafael Jr., Alvaro y Mariana.

Mami Elsie, tu familia hoy te despide con lágrimas de alegría y agradecimiento por todos los bellos recuerdos y las grandes enseñanzas de vida, valores y amor que dejas en nosotros. Quisiéramos regresar el tiempo y poderte abrazar nuevamente, pero aun no presente sabemos que siempre nos estarás tomándonos de la mano en cada momento de la vida porque hoy tu cuerpo descansa pero tu espíritu se queda con nosotros.

Descansa en paz amor de mi vida. Madre de mi alma. Abuelita de mis historias de alegrías. Descansa en paz mujer maravillosa y amorosa .

Por siempre te quedaras en nuestros corazones y mente .
