John Peter De Vries of Ontario, CA passed away peacefully January 5, 2017. He is survived by his wife,
Jo Ellen, 3 sons, John, Tony, and Michael and 1 daughter, Christine along with 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was born in Artesia, California, moved several times and ended up in Ontario, California. He attended Upland Christian Academy and Chino High School and married Jo Ellen Zwart on June 21, 1963. He had several dairy related jobs until 1976 when he started his own business called John De Vries Pest Control. There will be a viewing at Draper Mortuary on Jan. 12, 2017 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., and we will be celebrating his life at the First United Reformed Church, 6159 Riverside Ave., Chino, CA on Jan. 13th, 2017 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Food for Life, 4712 Cheyenne Ave., Chino, CA 91762.
