Born and raised in Walton, New York, he was the son of the late Graham and Evelyn Jackson, and was a member of the Class of 1960 at Walton High School. A graduate of the Cornell Dairy Farming program, he and his beloved wife, Sandra, ran the Marble-Del Farm and Jackson’s Sweet Corn in Walton for over 30 years. He then worked as a Field Service Representative for New York State Electric and Gas for 15 years.
Tom was a joyful musician, and played trumpet with The Cornell Big Red Band, and sang with the Midstatesmen Barbershop Chorus in Oneonta. He was a communicant at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oneonta.
Survivors include Sandra, daughters Jennifer (Michael) Constable of Delancey, Jacqueline (Todd) Scanlon of Oneonta, and sons William Thomas Jackson, Jr., of Deposit, and Samuel (Rebecca Dobert) of Portland, Oregon; 9 grandchildren, and many treasured cousins, nieces, and nephews.
