She was born on August 2, 1953 in Oneonta, the daughter of John A. and Carol (Brown) O'Kelly.
She was employed for many years at St. Rose Hospital in Troy. She loved animals and rescued many of them throughout the years. Her beloved dog Miles was her best friend.
Jan had a tough exterior but loved with all her heart. She had the biggest smile and gave the best bear hugs. She loved to make people laugh and have a good time. One of her favorite past times was watching the birds outside. We have many fond memories of our times with her at "Noplace".
As per Janet's wishes, there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held in early March.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are asked to be made to the Susquehanna SPCA, 5082-5088, NY-28, Cooperstown, NY 13326.
