Anna Mae Leach

Anne passed on October 19, 2021 at the Bassett Hospital after a short stay in a convalescent home.

She is survived by her sister Leda Eaton of Pine Hurst North Carolina, her three sons Jeff Leach of West Davenport, Mark and his wife Deborah Leach of Wells Bridge and Ralph Jr. of Sun City Center, FL., and granddaughters Heather Leach of Washington DC, and Leslie Anne Leach of Centerville, VA.

Anne was a retired telephone operator for over 30 years and after retiring she was a popular sales clerk in the children’s department of Bresee’s Department store for several years. She was married to the late Ralph L. Leach Sr. for 61 years.

There will be no calling hours and a private family memorial service will take place at a later date.

Her family requests memorial contributions in Anne’s memory be made to the American Cancer Society, 5 Oak Ave, Sidney, NY 13838 or the Helios Care (formerly Catskill Area Hospice), 1 Birchwood Drive, Oneonta, NY 13820.
