Mrs. Shela Rae (Stratton) Collins, born on September 2, 1962 in Casper, Wyoming, to the late Ethel Maria Stratton and the late Roger Fred Stratton, lost her short battle with pancreatic cancer at age 55 on June 30, 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was raised on her family ranch, helping with and showing steers. Shela graduated from Casper College in 1989 with an Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology. She was a Lead Angio Technologist for 23 years before becoming a Clinical Education Specialist at Siemens Medical Solutions. She is survived by her husband Ricky Collins, of nearly 13 years; daughter, Megan Stratton; sons, Blaine Stratton and Trey Stratton; daughter-in-law, Nika Stratton; grandbabies, Emma, Madison, Jacob, Carter, Boston, and Beckett; brothers, Justin and Jason; sisters and brother-in-laws; nieces and a nephew; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many "adopted" children. Shela described herself as an "Awesome Wife, Mother, Sister" and the "Best Nana." She loved spending time with her husband fishing, attending sporting events, and being apart of Session 7 musical gigs. Shela was very proud of her children's accomplishments, whether in life, in the military, or as parents. She also loved bragging about, spoiling and spending time with her grandbabies.
