James W Wood

Jim married Janice on July 21, 1950. James worked for the Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha his entire career, retiring in 1985. Preceded in death by his parents, Loretta (Brey) and James Wood; wife of 65 years, Janice (Bowley). Survived by children, Susan (Don) Frank of Norfolk, NE; and Bonnie (Jim) Russell of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, David (Erin) Fernley and Amy (Dan) Falcone; great-grandchildren Brenna, Devin, Abby, Maci, and Jude; beloved sisters, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

VISITATION: 1-2pm Saturday, Oct. 27, Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home; FUNERAL SERVICE: 2pm, following the visitation. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association - Omaha (11711 Arbor St #110, Omaha, NE 68144).
