James William Peoples Jr., age 87, of Carter Lake, IA went home to be with the Lord Monday May 27, 2019. James was born May 21, 1932 Port Arthur, TX to James and Sarah Peoples Sr. James is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Eunice Peoples; children, Tammy (Ron) Iverson, James "Trey" (Joanne) Peoples III, Tim (Debby) Peoples; sister, Alma Walter; 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; His cat Tiki; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. Funeral Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am Friday, May 31, 2019 at Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home. 5701 Center St. Omaha, NE 68106. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
