Preceded in death by his parents, Agnes Johnson and Elmer Maurer Sr. and sister, Betty Cooper. Survived by daughter, Teri (Tony) Turnbull; grandchildren, Erica (Johnny) Franco, Heather (Mike) Reed, and Nicole Marchant; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Beverly Cline, Barbara Howard, Alvin Maurer, Joan Westadt, and Roy Maurer Sr.
Elmer retired from Hawkins Construction Company in 2009 after 46 years.
Visitation 10-11am followed by Funeral Service 11am Wednesday, January 3 at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home. Burial Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
