Carolyn's life was devoted to her family. As a member of the Crete High School of 1964, I want to express our sympathy and loss of this dear classmate. She was a valued member of our class who took part in every band and choral activity available.  She was Valedictorian of our class showing high academic achievement.  Her devotion to her family could not be matched. She put her husband, children and grandchildren above herself. I enjoyed our coffee times for several years before her stroke and Pandemic lockdown. I consider Carolyn one of my dearest friends. I have missed our interactions and   will miss her very much. My sympathy to Bob and the family.

We are saddened to hear of Carolyn's passing.  Although we hadn't gotten to see you all as much in recent years, Corliss was impacted by her cousin's life in many ways.  She greatly enjoyed the relationship that she had with Carolyn over the years and they were able to make a connection in sharing some common life experiences.

May God give much grace during this season of loss.

Several years ago at a family gathering as the children were running about, laughing and playing, Carolyn, Tammie and I had a quiet conversation.  It was my mother’s birthday and I was thinking about how she passed away before the birth of her grandchildren.   Carolyn remarked that she felt blessed that she could spend time with her granddaughters and grandsons so that they could know each other.   Then she brightens  the moment by saying not to forget that on God’s timetable my mom and grandchildren would meet in heaven.   That was Carolyn.   Shining in the quiet moments.

To Carolyn’s family,
What a jewel this woman was. .  Can’t even imagine how many lives were touched in her nursing career. But, most of all she was a wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. We loved her quiet gentle spirit.  She will be missed. Our love to all.,

Nancy and I were deeply saddened to hear of wonderful Carolyn's  passing. We love both Bob and Carolyn and we will keep them in our prayers and thoughts. Carolyn will always be remembered in our hearts as a person who cared about everyone and was always their for you.  We will miss you Carolyn.
