Beverly Elaine Griffith

Beverly Elaine (Hill) Griffith, 75, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 30th, 2022. Beverly was born on March 8th, 1947 in Omaha. She was the younger of two children of Chester and Evelyn (Holmquist) Hill.

Beverly served as the Executive Director of the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging for many years. She was a member of Narcissus Chapter #269 Order of the Eastern Star, and also served as the Mother Advisor of Benson Diana Assembly #2, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.

Beverly was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her favorite time of year was Christmas where she could break out her Christmas collection and spend time with her family. She was always thinking of others and was the most giving person, donating to many charities and making sure her family had anything they needed.

Preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Evelyn Hill; and brother, Donald Hill.

She is survived by her children Todd (Jennifer) Griffith, and Kerri (Allen) Straub; grandchildren Erik (Taylor) Griffith, Emma Griffith, and Ethan Griffith; and many other friends and family.

VISITATION Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 from 5:00-7:30pm at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, with EASTERN STAR SERVICE at 7:00pm. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Wednesday, November 9th at 10:00am at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, with BURIAL to follow at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to any charity in her name. Some of her favorites included the Nebraska Humane Society and ASPCA.
