Barb has touched the lives of many; she was able to comfort us with her wisdom and scriptures. She was an avid church goer and organist at South Omaha Church of God.
Barb loved to spend time with her family. She cooked wonderful food and always made the best fudge. She always cheered on her favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs. She will always be our matriarch.
Preceded in death by loving husband, William "Bill" Coyer Jr.; granddaughters, Holly Klein and Alisha Coyer; mother, Stella Bishop; father, Henry Newell; and brother, Jay Bishop.
Those left to cherish Barb's memory include her children, Steve Coyer, Greg Coyer, Linda (Chris) Stone, Amy Coyer-Sailer, and Brenda (Ray) Rief; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Floyd (Desma) Newell, and Mary Jahns; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation for Barb will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Barb will be laid to rest in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
