Sharon Shive, 80, of Hernando, MS passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024. Sharon was born on December 2, 1943 in Paragould, AR. She was a loving wife of 58 years and a mother to four boys. Sharon’s greatest joy in life was being a Mother and Grandmother, not only to her children but to all children. She loved working for Harding Cordova after school care which she did for several years. She was incredibly talented, had a great eye for design, and was extremely creative with her crafts she made.
Sharon was a devoted member of Church and attended Highland and Germantown Church of Christ. She will be deeply missed but we know she is smiling on us all from Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Frank Jetton, her mother, Opal Irene Jetton and her brother, Jimmy Lin Jetton. She is survived by her sister, Judith Ann Jetton of Paragould, AR, her husband, Charles (Chuck) W. Shive Jr. of Hernando, MS, her four sons, Charles (Scotty) W. III (Lisa) of Collierville, TN, Brian Keith of Oakland, TN, Rodney Jon (Holly) of Hernando, MS, and Randall (Randy) Allen (Kristy) of Collierville, TN, and her grandchildren, Kristen Sloan, Courtney Linkous, Taylor, Logan, Landon, Cole, Cayden, and Amery, as well as her great grandchildren Layla and Adriana Sloan.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Walthall, MS.
