Olive Branch MS – Rev. Rose Lee Gillespie was born July 23, 1930 & passed peacefully to her Heavenly home on Fri Oct 24, at 1:35 PM, having lived 84 years. Husband of 67 years, Coleman B. Gillespie, was at her side. She was a devoted wife & mother, who also answered God’s call to ministry as an evangelist & Bible teacher all her adult life, first in Shreveport & Natchitoches Louisiana & East Texas, where hundreds came to know Christ, & dozens answered their call to the ministry. The last 20 years were spent serving in Olive Branch, MS. She is survived by her husband, 3 Daughters: Linda Lott, Bonita Munden (deceased), & Cathy Black; 6 Grandchildren: Jennifer Hagler, Amy Lott, Tisha Chavers, Sabrah Catricola, Sharrah Gervais & Shelley Black; and 11 Great grandchildren: Audrey & Kate Smit, Angie Hagler, Hailey Chavers, Makayla Chavers (deceased), David, Elijah & Abby Gervais, Hanna, Hailey, & Olivia Catricola, and a host of other cherished relatives, friends. Her home-going celebration is Sat Nov 1, 11:00 AM at Rejoice Church in Olive Branch MS, 7540 Davidson Rd. Visitation is 10 - 11 AM on Sat before the funeral at the church. The graveside service is at Southwoods Memorial Park, 5485 Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis TN, followed by a repast meal at the church.
