Olive Branch - Mattie Valeria Riley Munns, 91, of Olive Branch, MS was born in 1922 to Maggie and Leon Riley and passed away Monday, December 9, 2013. There will be a gathering of friends Wednesday, December 11, 2013, beginning at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and the service will follow on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 10 a.m. all at the Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. Interment will take place at Bethlehem Cemetery on Holmes Rd. in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Newty Munns, her parents and 4 siblings. Mattie is survived by her children, Carolyn Cupp (Floyd), Richard Munns, Robert Munns (Carolyn), William Munns (Heather) and Kay Hollis (Bill); 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
