Mary Frances Grace Williams, age 74 went home to the Lord on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Mary was born in Harrisville, Mississippi. Grace was preceded in death by her father, Robert Reeves, and her mother, Hallie Hill Reeves. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Sammy Lee Williams; son, Lee Williams; son, Robert Williams; daughter, Mary Zluticky; granddaughter, Victoria Buchanan, grandson, Lynn Williams; grandson, Scott Williams; granddaughter, Morgan Williams; grandson, Hunter Zluticky; and great- grandson, Easton Buchanan. She is also survived by three sisters: Gladys Martin of Pahrump, Nevada; Pauline Reeves of Martinsville, Mississippi; and Aline Moore of Gainesville, Missouri.
Grace was born on June 18, 1949, in Harrisville, Mississippi. She graduated from Harrisville High School. She graduated from Delta State University with an undergraduate degree in Special Education. She also graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Master’s in Elementary Education. She taught at Amanda Elzy Elementary in Greenwood, Mississippi for four years and she spent the rest of her teaching career at Southaven Middle School in Southaven, Mississippi.
Grace was a member of the Church of Christ at Coldwater, Mississippi. Over the years in the Church, she was a Bible School teacher, a counselor at Sardis Lake Christian Camp for many years, and she loved hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt devotional at her house. She loved helping out in any way she could.
The family will be honored to receive friends for visitation at Coldwater Church of Christ Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 10- 11 am, and Grace’s funeral service will be held at Coldwater Church of Christ in Coldwater, Mississippi, at 11:00 am.
