Mary Bess Dunlap

Mary Bess Hamm Dunlap, 84, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 of natural causes while at her home. She was born on September 24, 1939 in McNairy County to the late Clyde and Edna Hamm. Bess was fond of gardening, canning, and loved children. Her daughter, Dana; parents, Clyde and Edna, and three brothers, Elmer, Sam, and CB, preceded her in death. Bess is survived by husband of 64 years, James E. Dunlap, Sr.; three children, Debbie, Jamie, Josh; one brother, William Hamm; 6 grandchildren: Austin, Alina, Adam, Daubrey, Dailee, and Dempsey. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at New Prospect Baptist Church, 310 Hwy 305 N Olive Branch, MS 38654.
