Mack Wallace Callahan, 76, of Collierville, TN, died Sunday February 10, 2019. Mr. Callahan was a retired truck driver from Barclay Trucking. Mack was a private in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed building houses and working around the house, especially in his garden. He also loved baseball, sitting out on the porch and even liked to coach baseball. Above all else, Mr. Callahan loved and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Taylor and Olivia Callahan and one brother, Gordon Callahan. Mr. Callahan is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Callahan, three children, Evie Gregory (Andrew), Jeff Callahan (Brande), and Adam Gregory (Jill) and five siblings, Nancy Price, Connie Robertson, Deanie Allen, Gene Callahan, and Hugh Callahan. Survivors also include four grandchildren, Ashley (Chad), Alicia, Olivia, and Michael, and six great-grandchildren, Hunter, Dillon, Allison, Austin, Taylor, and Eden. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening, February 14, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm. The funeral Service will be held on Friday morning, February 15, 2019 at 10am. All services will be held at Brantley Funeral Home of Olive Branch, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
