Olive Branch - James Alan Martin Pollock, 39, died Monday, May 17, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was a graduate of Ridgeway High School and he loved all sports, either watching or playing. James had been a kitchen manager in various restaurants in Memphis and Oxford, MS. He is survived by his mother, Sherry J. Pollock of Olive Branch; his brother, Daniel Robert Martin II and sister-in-law, Michelle; and niece and nephew, Sherry Michelle Martin and Daniel R. Martin III. He was preceded in death by his father, James C. Pollock. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch.
