BANGOR - Travis E. Thibodeau, 37, of Bangor, died unexpectedly July, 26 2014. Travis was born in Bangor to Mike and Debbie (Murray) Thibodeau of Milford.He is survived by his son, Tyler Michaels of Corinth, a daughter, Braelyn Thibodeau and her mom, Melissa Bonney of Corrina. He is also survived by a sister, Danielle Thibodeau of Augusta, cousins, Ryan Murray of Hermon and Corey Murray of Glenburn, who were like the brothers that Travis never had, best friends, Jason Bouchard, Rick and Heather Martin. Travis was predeceased by his grandfather, Edward Murray and his Uncle Steve Murray.
Travis was a 1996 graduate of Old Town High School and the small engine repair program. Travis loved to tinker on engines of any kind, he could disassemble anything and had the knowledge to put it back together and running like a top. Travis loved his job at American Iron in Bangor were he was a crane operator for 8 years, he was the best at what he did. Travis loved dirt bikes and snowmobiles but it was the love of family and friends that meant the most to Travis. His daughter Braelyn was his world, and when he wasn't with his daughter he was with his dog Mischief.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to his daughter, Braelyn Thibodeau in memory of Travis. Visiting hours for Travis will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 29 2014. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. July 30 2014 at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, with a graveside immediately following at Cedarvale Cemetery in Argyle.
