Paul was a graduate of Old Town High School. He was employed at the Old Town Mill for 42 years as a central control system operator, he also worked for 10 years for the Rail Road. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and woodcarving. He loved animals, his pugs, watching birds, and raising chickens, ducks, geese, and lamb. He was a member of the ELKS and the last of the founding members of the Penobscot County Federal Credit Union. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with his grandchildren and will be fondly remembered as Bonnie and Clyde" while driving his 1930 Model A Ford with his wife Evelyn. He will also be remembered for his collection of hats and ties.
He is survived by three children, Timothy D. Pelletier and his wife, Daphene, of Milford, Victoria Pelletier Goodspeed and her husband, Robert, of Greenbush and Bryan P. Pelletier of Greenbush; three grandchildren, Eric Pelletier and his wife, Christina, Cassandra Goodspeed and her husband Scott Tanguay, and Stacy Goodspeed, a stepgrandson, Steffan Ross and his wife, Amy; five great-grandchildren, Matthew and Hailee Pelletier, Nikohlas Hachey, Emma Wickett and Brooke Ross; brothers Francis Pelletier and his wife Del of MT, and Charles Pelletier of South Paris; sister Nancy Dunn and her husband Albert of Old Town; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn in 2010, brother Robert Pelletier, and sisters Anna Sucy and Ellen Gifford.
Friends may call 6-8PM Monday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11AM Tuesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Bradley. Immediately following the mass, a luncheon will be provided in the church fellowship hall. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town.
