Nancy was a graduate of Old Town High School, Class of 1958, where she later worked as a secretary. This allowed her to keep an eye on her grandchildren as they made their way through the halls of Old Town High.
She was always dressed to the nines and had to have her hair just perfect. She was an avid crafter, reader and especially loved spending time with her friends. She also enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s game and concerts.
She is survived by and will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kimberly McKay and husband, Gary of Florida; sons, Scott King and his wife, Valerie of Old Town and Jeffrey King and his wife, Candace of Lincoln; grandchildren, Miranda and Brandon McKay, Meghan Eastman, Jenna McCourt, Ali King, Caitlyn and Olivia King; seven great grandchildren, Curtis, Charlie, Cole, Zoe, Leigha, Wyatt and Waylon; sister, Persis Brown; sister-in-laws, Jacqueline Gardner, Sharon LaFlamme, Penny Halberstadt, Yvette Brown and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Donald King; sister, Ruth O’Neil and Marjorie Jewett; brother, David Brown and granddaughter, Emily Rae King.
