He was known for his original sense of humor, his craftsmanship, his work ethic, and his love of sports. He was a loving father, husband, brother, grandfather, friend, teacher, and coach. Coaching young adults was his passion and he influenced so many students as a teacher, coach and Athletic Director. He graduated from Old Town High School in 1975, and was proud to work at his alma mater, where he was so loved by his students. He was happiest in his boat on Pushaw Lake, enjoying the sunsets with his wife, Kristy. He loved watching his granddaughter Lexi play basketball and was looking forward to seeing her play in the Northern Maine Championship game. He traveled frequently to Massachusetts where he was proud to see his granddaughter Isabella compete in gymnastics. He enjoyed fishing on the lake with his grandson Dylan. Greg loved to joke around and make people laugh.
Greg was predeceased by his parents Robert and Elaine Thibodeau, his mother-in-law Lucinda Rand, and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Kristy; his children Gregory Thibodeau II and partner Kristen Bilodeau, Corey Thibodeau and wife Michele, Jessica Ford and husband Joe Guerrette, and Lindsay Ford; his siblings Vicki and Dave Stinchfield, Kristine and Ricky Hall, and Robert and Donna Thibodeau; a special sister-in-law Peggy Laskey; father and mother-in-law John and Judy Rand; grandchildren Lexi Thibodeau, Dylan Thibodeau, Isabella Thibodeau, and Lucy Guerrette; many nieces and nephews; and his dogs, Champ and Jasper.
A brief celebration of life service will be conducted 1PM Sunday March 6, 2022 at Old Town High School followed by celebration of life gathering from 1:30-3:30 pm. All are invited to attend.
