Kathryn Frances Hall

“Kay” was born on 12/29/1937 to Florence and Jesse H. Lawrence, Sr. in New York, NY. She grew up in Teaneck, NJ, and lived in Bayport, Long Island before moving to Old Saybrook in 1970.

After graduating from Centenary College, Kathryn started her career as an executive secretary at Schering Corporation, and many years later worked for R. R. Donnelley for 25 years. After her retirement, she became an active volunteer in town at The Kate and for The Chamber of Commerce. In fact, she was named Volunteer of the Year in 2016. Kathryn was also very involved in the Fenwood Beach Association

Kay is survived by her three children, Leslie Ciarleglio of North Branford, CT, Susan (Gary) Osborne of Hillarys, Western Australia, Meredith Hall of Essex, CT, and her six beloved grandchildren Justine, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Conor, Tyler, and Lacey.

Kathryn was predeceased by her parents, brother Jesse H. Lawrence, Jr., and nieces Robin Lawrence and Wendy Halama.

Services will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Old Saybrook on 7/29/2023 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Cancer Couch, supporting research for metastatic breast cancer. https://www.flipcause.com/secure/cause_pdetails/MTg2MDE1
