“In my life I have served and loved God, family, my job and friends. I’ve tried to live my life as the prayers of St. Francis reads. I poured out my life for my family, my friends and for my beloved old people I’ve had the pleasure of serving for so many years as I did.
The one that made me has called me and I’m so happy and overjoyed. I have loved Him and served Him in this life, each day as it unfolded. Where the need was - I tried to fill it, as He would want me to – a shoulder to cry on or food for the needy, a ride and sometimes money – each moment of each day. I tried to be sensitive to the needs of others – that made me happy!
It was a gift given to me by my beloved. While there was sadness and tears in my life – I in turn helped someone else, for it is there that I found peace – doing for others.
I want each of you to know how much I love each of you. I never could be the person I’ve become without each of you. You were my Angels showing me the way home.
For now my beloved is calling and I’m going HOME” ….. Diane M. Poitras
