Thomas Edward Schmittou age 94, passed away January 3, 2022. On April 2, 1955 he married Mary Ruth Cobble. Mr. Schmittou and his wife lived in the Donelson Community from 1957-2018. He was proceeded in death by, his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Ruth Schmittou, his parents Raybon and Naomi Schmittou and 7 siblings. Mr. Schmittou is survived by his son Michael (Tina) Schmittou and grandchildren Jacob Thomas Schmittou and Mary Katherine Schmittou and his brother Rudolph (Nan) Schmittou. Visitation will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 1-3pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00pm. The burial will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Faith.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his name may be made to St. Jude Children’s research hospital.
