WILSON, Robert Forrest, age 85, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013. Born in Macon County, Forrest spent most of his life in Old Hickory where he was Pharmacist-Owner of Wilson Drug Co. He was an active member of the Church Of Christ where he taught Bible Classes for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a loyal Vol fan. Preceded in death by his parents, Fred & Clodine Biles Wilson; son, Jeffrey Forrest Wilson; sister, Gloria Wilson Brown. Survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Ann Dunn Wilson; sons, Dr. Steven (Suzanne) Wilson and Patrick (Deborah) Wilson; grandchildren, John, Daniel, Caleb, Eli, Nadya and Elizabeth; daughter-in-law, Trina Wilson; special niece, Deborah Carl. Funeral Services will be conducted Noon Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Old Hickory Church of Christ with Bro. August Ruff and Travis Whitely officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Larry Gammon, Marshall Brown, Kenny Mattox, Jimmy Hopper, Ben Dennis and Johnny Galloway will serve as Active Pallbearers. Raburn Barron, Gene Griffin, Ralph Fox, Dr. Howard Pomery, Joe Jenkins, Dr. Alejandro Rivas, Ron Robinson, Merle Short, George Purnell, Howard Stamps, J.B. Gammon, Jack Brown, Bill Jones, Dr. Ben Elliott, George Hinson, Walt Williams, Don Dugger, Alan Tucker, Thursday Morning Men’s Bible Class and all former Bible Class students will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation with the family 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home and 11 a.m. – Noon Wednesday at the Church.
