Mr. DeLozier served in the Navy and was very proud of his country. He worked for Kenworth of Tennessee for 27 years and was a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans. He was an encouraging, down to earth, hardworking man who dearly loved his family; and will most fondly be remembered as having a sharp wit who gave everyone close to him a teasing nickname.
Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Volene DeLozier; beloved wife of 37 years, Margaret Ann DeLozier; two brothers, Bob and Noel DeLozier; and one granddaughter, Natalie Ann DeLozier.
He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Mari Spencer DeLozier; children, Christie (Eric) Kehn and Travis (Deana) DeLozier; step-children, Jamie Rose, Dani (Charleston) Howard and Shawn (Tammy) Spencer; granddaughter, Gracie DeLozier; step-grandchildren, David Rose, Justin Howard, Brenna Howard, Angela Howard, Candice (Albert) Rogers, Camille Howard, Brandon Howard, Alexis Spencer, and Aaron Spencer; and siblings, Helen Brethauer, David (Shirley) DeLozier, Jim (Melba) DeLozier, Philip (Lee) DeLozier, Maudine West, and Marilyn Ligon.
Gathering of family and friends is scheduled for Saturday December 7, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00 pm with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
