LouAnn Burkeen, age 75 passed away September 20, 2018 at her home in Jackson, GA. She was born April 24, 1943 in Nashville, TN to James Winchester and Eva Ruth Burnett. She attended DuPont High School. She worked for State Farm for many years. She truly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren every moment of her life.
She is preceded in death by her Father, James Winchester and Mother, Eva Ruth Burnett.
She is survived by her brother, Jim (June) Winchester; longtime companion Dennis Michael; son, John (Andrea) Burkeen; daughter, Kelly (Alan) Maxwell; 5 grandchildren, Emily, Olivia, Grace, Kelcie and Evan; 1 great-grandchild, Ellie.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN with Bro. Jud Hays officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
A Gathering of family & friends will be Monday, September 24, 2018 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
