Larry Clay Wilson

Mr. Wilson grew up in Donelson. He attended Donelson High School and graduated with the Class of 1969. He met the love of his life and they have been married for fifty-five years. In his career, he was a truck driver in the transport industry. In his spare time, he enjoyed being and working outdoors. It was a challenge to repair items needing repair and to work on cars. Mr. Wilson really enjoyed playing with the grandchildren, especially in earlier days before his illness. He loved . . . was well-loved . . . and will be sorely missed.

Mr. Wilson is predeceased by his father, William Wilson; and by his mother, Cornelia McElroy Wilson. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Glenda Kaye Wilson; his daughter, Sherron Michelle Isaacs; his son, Larry Clay Wilson, Jr.; grandson, Brandon Kyle Isaacs; grandson, Tyler Keith Isaacs; grandson, William Chase Wilson; granddaughter, Kayla Nikole Forkum (Clay); grandson, Christian Cain Wilson; sister, Betty Abner (Jim); sister, Carolyn Medlin; brother, William Robert Wilson, Jr.; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Hermitage Funeral Home. There will be a Graveside Service on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Garden of Faith at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
