Gregory was a retired District Sales Manager for Wyffels Hybrids. He was a graduate of South Newton High School, Class of 1989. He then attended Vincennes University, graduating with an associate degree in science and finished his schooling with his bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University, Class of 1995. He was one of the founding members of the Farmhouse Fraternity at Western Kentucky University. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a 3rd degree Mason. He loved being outdoors, enjoying his farm, dogs, and animals. His knowledge of corn went far beyond what a typical person would know and he was an avid fisherman, specifically on Lake Erie. He was a member of Saint Stephen's Catholic Community. He was a wonderful man who will be missed by his loving family, friends, co-workers, and all that had an opportunity to know him.
Gregory is survived by his father, Charles Richard Triplett; mother, Joan Baird Triplett; son, Andrew Joseph Triplett of Hendersonville, TN; siblings Betty Jolene Bushman of Colorado, Lori Lynn Salciunas of Indiana, and Charles Allen Triplett of Indiana; by his close friends, Heather Lancaster and Ivan Wollenmann; by his numerous nieces, nephews, especially Benjamin Carl Allen; and by his faithful dog companion, Tinsley.
There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends for Gregory on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Stephen's Catholic Community, 14544 Lebanon Rd, Mount.Juliet, TN 37138, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment to immediately follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN, in the Garden of Andrew.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Stephen's Catholic Community, 14544 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory, TN 37138 or Room in the Inn, P.O. Box 25309, Nashville, TN 37202-5309.
