Dimple Dean McClendon, 82 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday October 5, 2022. Dimple was born on July 19, 1940, in Nashville, Tennessee to Odell and Loretta Roberts. She was married to Robert McClendon for 59 years. She was a member of Living Springs Baptist church and enjoyed reading her bible daily. Dimple had many passions in life; travel, fishing and cooking, but none was greater than her love for family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dimple was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert (RC) her parents Odell and Loretta Roberts and a daughter Cynthia Maxwell (Owen) and two brothers, Richard E Roberts and James Roberts.
She is survived by her son Bobby (Debbie) McClendon, daughters; Tracey (Dale) Swafford and Pam Gordon, a brother Ronnie Roberts, Grandchildren Tina (Becky) Eberhart, Clinton Dean McClendon, Clint Lane McClendon and Cheyenne Taylor McClendon; Great-grandchildren Breena L’Huillier, Brooklyn Paige McClendon, Kayla Bagwell Young, Jacob and Violet Lesniewski.
The family will receive friends at Hermitage Funeral Home 525 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN from 10:00 – 2:00 PM on Friday October 14, 2022.
The Celebration of Life service will be held at the Hermitage Funeral Home on Friday October 14, 2022 at 2:00PM with Chaplain Mickey Basham officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
