James Basil Scudder Sr.

James Basil Scudder, Sr. of Old Bridge NJ passed away August 19, 2015 at St Peters University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Shelbyville TN on November 14, 1923, Jim was married to his loving wife Helen Louise Greer for almost 65 years. He proudly served twice in the Army in the Korean War. Jim received his Masters in Accounting at the University of Tennessee in 1959, after which Jim and Helen moved to Old Bridge in 1959 and worked at DuPont Photo Products in Parlin, NJ until retiring. Jim loved boating and was long-timer member of the Raritan Bay Power Squadron, even proudly serving as a Past Commander. Jim is survived by a son Jim, daughter Debbie, and four grand children Kyle, Evan, Brooke and Ashley. Memorial services are being held 1:00PM this Saturday August 22 (with friends and family gathering before beginning at 12:00) at the First Presbyterian Church in New Brunswick NJ. The church is located at 100 Livingston Ave, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
