Randy Eugene Weber

Randy Eugene Weber of Olathe, KS went to join his Lord and Savior on November 5, 2024. Randy was born Oct. 7, 1960 to Joyce (Azamber) and Tony Weber. He attended school in the Pittsburg School District until moving to Girard in 1975, where he graduated from Girard High School in 1978. It was while living in Girard he met the love of his life, Judy Hanson. They married on May 22, 1981 at First Christian Church in Girard. In 1986, the couple moved to Olathe where they have resided ever since.

Randy worked as a computer programmer before becoming a middle school social studies teacher. He retired from teaching at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Lenexa. Randy’s passion for teaching led to the development of positive relationships with many of his students. Following his retirement, he worked as part-time grounds maintenance worker at Kill Creek Park near De Soto, KS where he took pride in making things look nice for the community.

Randy was a member of Sojourn Church in Gardner, KS. Randy enjoyed road trips, reading, classic rock, watching soccer, and especially spending time with his family. Sunday meals with the whole family became a cherished tradition with Randy often doing the cooking.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lisa Ducker, step-father Jim Welsh, and his little dog Grace. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, a daughter Emily Baldwin (Scott), sons Tony Weber (Shelby) and Mitchell Weber, grandchildren Will, Ben, and Ember Baldwin, Peyton and Landon Weber, all of Olathe, his brother Eddie Weber (Lora), sister Pam Sandness (Marc), brothers-in-law Steve Ducker, Rick Hanson (Carla), Jerry Hanson (Diane), and sister-in-law Lana Gifford (Bill). He is also survived by an aunt and uncles, and numerous beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday, November 16th at Mill Creek Community Church which is located at 7825 Gleason Rd, Shawnee, KS 66227. Interment will take place at a later date in Girard, KS.
