Our guild (Olathe Quilter's Guild) has lost a "true treasure" and I for one now have a hole in my heart.  Naomi has given me personally many good memories and those will certainly heal that space in my heart as I remember all the fun and warmth, wit and work that Naomi always gave willingly to all of us who knew her so well.  Our Christmas parties were always a hit with Naomi always donating the paper products to set up the tables and she surprised us each and every year with a new "favor" that she so lovingly made for each and everyone attending to take home.  Sherrie and I enjoyed all the help she gave us when we ran the boutique for the quilt show several years in a row.  Brown was Naomi's favorite color and Sherrie and I took some fat quarters to her after her surgery a few years ago.  Needless to say she was delighted.  She was generous with her ideas, patterns, quilts, and most of all her large smile that welcomed us at each meeting and true interest in each and everyone of us.  I will miss this the most!

Cousins Bill and Bonnie and Family.  Naomi and Bill will always be in my thoughts even though we only saw them on occasions.  We enjoyed their visits to Texas and always felt welcomed when we came to Kansas.

I met Naomi through the Olathe Quilter's guild. She contributed much over the years to everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Naomi's extended family. She will be missed

Bonnie and Billy - so sorry to hear about your mom.  You guys were always great neighbors and your mom was a truly wonderful person.  I will always remember good times spent at your house.

I only knew Naomi for a couple years through the Olathe Quilting Guild. She always had a kind word and was ready to answer any question I had about quilting. A very gifted quilter and cherished member who will be greatly missed.

As a member of the Olathe Quilters Guild, I had the pleasure of knowing Naomi.  She was such a sweet person and a wonderful quilter.  She will be greatly missed.

Bill and Bonnie --

Sorry to hear about your mother.  I will always remember that your mother helped me get my first job at the courthouse.  Oh, and those beautiful quilts she made -- I was always amazed at her beautiful creations - hope the whole family will cherish each and every one.  Take care, Diana (Wiggin) Hall

Aunt Naomi was a lovely woman who created lovely things. I always loved to see her quilts and flowers in her garden whenever I was in Olathe. I admired the work she and Uncle Bill did in their church and for the Eastern Star. She was one of the reasons that I am a lifelong Eastern Star member.

She was a loving help to her daughter, Bonnie and Bonnie's sons. She always talked about how much she enjoyed going to visit her son, Billie, and his family wherever they were living.

She and Uncle Bill always seemed to enjoy life to the fullest and they got much joy from contributing to the welfare of others.

I hope that all of her family will treasure her memories and continue to live  her life's examples.

My brother and sister always remember Naomi and Bill when we would visit Olathe in the summertime when we were very young.  We usually stayed at Naomi and Bill's home.  We tried to always keep in touch Naomi over the years.  She was a very good person and we loved her for the person she was to all of us.

Naomi was one of my very favorite pateints.  She always had so much energy and a postivive outlook on life.  I will miss our relationship very much, as I am sure that you will miss her as well.
