John was a graduate of Macomber High School and University of Toledo. He had successful careers with DeVilbiss and Spray Equipment which took him all over the country. John never met a stranger and many people across the country were lucky enough to have him as a friend. As a credit to his long-time friendships, his loss will be felt from Ohio to Arizona, Texas, Florida, Missouri, and Kansas.
His greatest accomplishments, though, were the loving 50-year marriage to his wife, Pat; being the proud father of his two daughters, Carrie and Cate; and, as “Pops”, doting on his two beloved grandchildren, Cooper and Avery.
John was ornery. He was funny. He was kind. He is loved and will be so dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Lynch; his brother Jerry Lynch; and his mother, Willowdean “Willie” Lynch. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lynch; daughters, Carolyn Bachert and Catherine Lynch; his grandchildren Cooper and Avery Bachert; his sisters, Kathy Pickett and Bridget McClain; and his brothers, Jimmy Lynch and Peter Lynch.
