Elnora Frances Christian

The daughter of Joseph and Sarah York (Saltsider), was born January 14, 1930, in Macon County, Missouri. She married Robert Christian on October 23, 1948. Elnora was a long time resident of Brookfield, Missouri until moving to live with her daughter in Olathe, Kansas in 2001. She retired as a physician’s assistant and was a care giver to all her grandchildren at various times.

Elnora is survived by her daughter Charlotte Herring (Christian); Son Chuck Brobst and wife Renee; Grandchildren: Kelly Showalter (Herring) and boyfriend Nick Wright, Kathy Herring and fiancée Joel Jones, Kristen Brobst and husband Scott Smedile, Kelsey Pagel (Brobst) and husband Andrew; Great Grandchildren Jordan Williams (Herring) and husband James, Karly Showalter, Madeline Showalter and Ellie Boland; Great-great grandchildren: Cooper Williams and Emersyn Williams; brothers-in-law Dale Christian and wife Marilyn, Leslie Faulkner and Roy Wright and many nieces and nephews.

Elnora was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Sarah York; husband Robert Christian; sisters Wilma Podzimek and husband Francis, Bonnie Faulkner, and Peggy Wright; brothers Harvey, Eldon and Ole York; Sisters-in-law Willadean Sterling, Juanita Lambert and Venita Ray.
