William Wright Cottrell, III, 74, of Choctaw, Oklahoma passed away May 29, 2016. He was born October 2, 1941 in Columbia, South Carolina to William Jr. and Charlotte (McKins) Cottrell. William was proud to have served in the United States Air Force as a young man. After the Air Force, he spent his career in civil service as a combat photographer. William was a former Elder at the First Presbyterian Church in Midwest City. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling and taking road trips. William also loved square dancing and was a member of 2 different square dancing clubs. When able, he could be found 2 to 3 days a week dancing. William is survived by his brother, Robert Cottrell; nephews, Robert Cottrell, Jr. and family, Daniel Cottrell, and Dwayne Cottrell and family; as well as his loving friends.
