This is the hardest thing my sister and I have ever done, but together we wrote and will deliver Tracy Martin’s eulogy with great honor and praise to show a tribute, to a person we will love and admire for always. Tracy Lynn Martin 42, or T.T. as she was known to all, passed away on August 1, 2010 in OKC. Tracy was a sister, mother and friend. She was also a wonderful wife, daughter, and aunt. Tracy was born July 30, 1968 in Chandler, OK to Gary Lynn and Patricia Elaine (Smith) Harris.
Tracy was the kind of person who always wanted to take care of everyone. There were times she thought she had super human strength and could fix the whole world. She had the biggest heart of anyone I know. She would do anything for her family and friends, especially her three nephews. She cared for the boys like they were hers. And to be honest she really was more like a mother to them than an aunt. Tracy always bought the boys school supplies and always thought that was something she needed to do. She was an extremely giving person too. She loved to help meme (our grandmother) at the church making gift boxes for underprivileged children. For the past two or three years I can remember the day after Christmas going to every Walgreens in Edmond and South OKC so she could start shopping for next year’s boxes. She never seemed to meet a stranger for the good Lord had blessed her with the gift of gab! T.T. is survived by her loving husband James; parents, Gary and Patty Harris; sisters, Amy Butler and husband Mike, Emily Shawdee and husband Matt; nephews, Gary Williams, Brett Butler, Malaki Shawdee; grandmother, Mary Harris; In-Laws, Jim and Evelyn Martin and Laura Martin; and a host of aunts uncles and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens
