He graduated high school from Old Classen HS, where he played football. He then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in personnel management from Oklahoma City University, OCU.
Mr. Ronald C. Hammond married Dorothy Marion White and they had 3 sons. Ronald Clyde served his country well and had several careers: One career was the Director of National special programs for the Oklahoma Employment Service where he helped unemployed parents find jobs and recruit their kids in the job Corp. He also had a long-standing and merited career in the US ARMY, National Guard, where he retired after 30 years as a National Guard Master Sergeant.
He and his wife built a business by investing in real estate property and worked very hard. Mr. Hammond was a member of The American Legion and Crown Heights United Methodist Church. He also had a passion for dominoes and playing bridge.
A graveside service will be held for Ronald on Thursday, September 28th, 2023 at 10:30 am at Memorial Park Cemetery.
