Ronald Jeffery Dailey passed away peacefully in the comforts of his own home on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He was born August 22, 1952, to Paul Harrison and Mary Elizabeth (Reynolds) Dailey in Edwards Air Force Base in California. He would graduate from Midwest City High School before getting a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science from Southern Nazarene University. Ron was a hard worker and after years spent as a bookkeeper and accountant, he retired.
Ron met Marybeth Palme through a mutual friend at their church. Together they were married for 38 wonderful years. One of his favorite ways to show his big heart was through baking. Ron actually became quite the baker! He made chocolate chip cookies, bread and even homemade rolls. His baked goods had everyone wanting more whenever he whipped up a batch, especially those chocolate chip cookies.
He also took it upon himself to help ensure his family was in contact, arranging family reunions whenever possible. When he wasn’t baking or organizing the next gathering he was doing his “brain therapy” – playing games.
Ron is survived by his wife, Marybeth Dailey; and his sister Gail Dailey of Midwest City, Oklahoma.
The graveside service in honor of Ron is scheduled for Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
