He was born in Anthony, KS on March 4, 1942. Robert graduated from Drumright High School. He would go on to meet Jimmie Lou Burke, and the two were happily married on February 12, 1971. Robert had a career as an Auto Mechanic for Craig Ayers Chevrolet, Woodie Ayers Chevrolet, Heritage Chevrolet, and Bob Howard Chevrolet.
He loved being involved in his grandchildren’s growth and personal maturity, and he had a passion for watching them achieve their accomplishments.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Alta Theta (Miller) and Robert Riley Raibourn; Sister, Loretta D. Suthard.
He is survived by his wife Jimmie Lou Raibourn; Son, Darin Lee Raibourn and wife Tracie Lorraine; Grandsons, Dalton Lee Raibourn, Logan Riley Raibourn; Siblings, Lorene Almquist, Lloyd Raibourn, Larry Raibourn, Lois Christopher, and Louis Raibourn; Sister in laws, Sharon Burke and Betty Ann Cabrera; And numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Robert will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Edmond First Church of the Nazarene, 3001 S. Blvd, Edmond, Oklahoma.
