Robert John Krawiecki, 72, passed away at his home in Choctaw, Oklahoma, on July 5, 2021. Robert was born on November 2, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri, to parents Raymond and Frances (Zgonina) Krawiecki.
Robert's favorite hobbies included watching the St. Louis Cardinals, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and OU Football. Robert loved chili dogs, beer, his mom's cheesecake, Charlie's Prime Rib, Bunny's Onion Burgers, and Amy's Fried Egg Sandwiches. Robert also loved visiting his family back in St. Louis and going to Lake Eufala with Amy. Two of Robert's greatest achievements and proudest moments were him marrying Kathy on December 8, 1997, who he often said was the love of his life, and being a godfather to his nieces and nephews.
Robert was a U.S. Marine, having served in the United States Marine Corps. He was also a devout Catholic and attended church until his health made it too difficult to attend regularly. Robert was a lifetime member of the VFW (Post 7192) and the American Legion.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Frances Krawiecki; his loving wife, Kathy Krawiecki; his brother, James Krawiecki; his sister, Arlene Hock; and his favorite dog, Scotty.
He is survived by his two daughters, Amy Welch and Deidre Smith; brother, Mike Krawiecki and wife Mindy; sister-in-law Nancy; sister-in-law Colleen Fleck and James, granddaughter, Kate Burnts, great-grandsons, Ben and Ollie; nieces, Ann Marie (Pat), Maureen (Allen), Alexandra, Adriane (Stacy), Jennifer (Justin); nephews, Matthew (Tiffany), and Robert (Kelly); and several great-nieces and nephews, a great many friends, and one Pepper dog.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Oklahoma Westie Rescue and the VFW Post 7192.
