Robert M. Hoffman, Sr., loving husband & dad, lost his long battle with Alzheimer’s on Friday, December 1st, 2017, at home and travelled to the other side of “Glory” to spend eternity with his Lord. Bob was born December 7th, 1933 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the son of Eugene P. & Sue Hoffman.
Bob was preceded in death by his three siblings, Regina Novak, Eugene P. Bob, and his beloved wife, Nancy, were members of the first graduating class of Catholic High School of 1951, now Bishop McGuinness High School. He attended Oklahoma A&M, and after serving in the army as a Drill Instructor, graduated from Oklahoma City University. As for his career, Bob “loved” working for, & with, his friends and partners, Paul Woolsey, John Neely, Charlie Newton & David Von Holton, for several years. He had a blast!
In regard to his interests, Bob very much enjoyed aviation and all things history, especially WW II subject matter. He “loved” Colorado!
Even though Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia “wrecked” his mind and body, Bob was blessed to have experienced the love and caring support of his special caregivers, Amy, Comfort & Crystal, and many others, as well as the Mercy Hospice team, especially Mindi, his nurse, for their incredible care, love and support. He will be missed dearly.
