Robert Brian Gilbert

Robert Brian Gilbert, 46, entered into Eternal Rest on December 19, 2020. Brian was born on September 19, 1974 in Oklahoma City to Bob and Sharon (Simpson) Gilbert. Brian grew up in Woodward, Oklahoma, and graduated from Woodward High School in 1993 and then after pursued a college education in Psychology at NWOSU at Alva, OK. After completing 3 years of coursework, he moved to OKC and worked in the service and construction industries.

Brian loved his collections: Hotwheels, Star Wars, WWE wrestlers, baseball cards, and music. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and OU Sooners.

Brian loved his friends and family and never let a conversation end without saying “I love you.” He was a sweet and sensitive son. He will be missed so much.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Frank and Louise Simpson, Ralph and Juanita (Gilbert) Cory, aunt Jonnie (Gilbert) Fries, and cousin Kelly Norton.

He is survived by his parents, his sister, Stacy Taylor, and nephews, Richard and Zach Taylor of Los Angeles, CA, aunts June (Simpson) McGirt of Fernandina Beach, FL, Pam (Simspon) –Ed – Isbell of Grandview, TX; cousins Cindy Norton, Kim Patton, Jennifer Rose, Amber Isbell; special friend Shayna Erwin; and extended family and friends.
