Robert E. Carmichael, 45, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away May 19, 2024. He was born in Enid, Oklahoma on June 14, 1978. Rob graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy and received an Associate’s in Science with emphasis on Alcohol & Substance Abuse Counseling; Enterprise Development General Studies Option; and Certificate of non-profit Management. All of these received from Oklahoma State University. He married Steven W. Riddle on February 20, 2015.
Rob worked in case management for NorthCare Mental Health and Sisu Youth Services. Some of the things he enjoyed were Dr. Pepper and sleeping. Most importantly, he loved his family, his friends and helping others.
He is survived by his husband, Steve Riddle; father, Mike Carmichael; mother, Kathy Carmichael; sister, Whitney Taylor, brother-in-law Ryan, nephews Owen and Jack Taylor; his unforgettable Mildred (his little dachshund princess!), as well as many other loving family and friends.
A celebration of life for Robert will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
